• This German beer stein features a pewter eagle on the front of the stein. Below the pewter eagle "Deutschland" is displayed in raised relief. The top of the stein reads "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit" (Unity and justice and freedom) around the rim. The sides of the stein also have raised relief crests resembling the 16 states of Germany: Hamburg, Bremen, Sachsen Anhalt (Saxony-Anhalt), Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony), Nordrhein Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia), Hessen (Hesse), Saarland, Rheinland Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate), Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Berlin, Brandenburg, Thüringen (Thuringia), Sachsen (Saxony), Baden Württemberg, and Bayern (Bavaria).
